    New bottle and size...now 1 oz., that's 50% more!

So when you have access to one of the purest, lowest friction, environmentally friendly lube on the planet, you use it on stuff. We've spent the last 2 years using NFS chain lube on pretty much everything including our pumps. So we approached NFS with the ask to develop a pump specific lube optimized for use with SILCA leather gaskets.

The solution: NFS Pump Lube, a 100% pure synthetic oil optimized to adhere to SILCA leather gaskets and coat pump tube walls. The result: Lower pumping force, higher pumping efficiency and extended leather gasket wear due to reduced friction and heat.

The unique red coloration of this lube has given it the nickname 'Pump Blood' from our pro-mechanic users worldwide. We recommend putting a few drops of 'Pump Blood' into your pump every 6 months to a year, the coating of the walls will keep it pumping at peak efficiency with minimum effort.

Rebuilding a pump? Look at one of our NEW rebuild kits including NFS Pump Blood, making your pump even better than it was when new!

    Saved my bike pumps!

I just did some long overdue maintenance on my two bicycle pumps. One of them a mid 80s vintage Silca Pista. Both of them had dried out their leather washers and I thought I'd have to replace them since it was getting much harder to pump my tires due to leakage around those washers. It turns out they were not worn out so I reused them after rubbing a bit of Silca NFS Leather conditioner into them. While I was at it, I also took out the one way check valve so that I could clean and lube that as well. Both pumps work like new now.!

Works to refresh the Impero Frame Pump

This liquid works well as a rejuvenator for the leather gasket in the Impero Frame Pump. My pump wasn't holding any air pressure (hadn't used it in a while) and this was a pretty quick 5-minute job to fix. I suppose you could use something like Vaseline, but this isn't too pricey and this volume should last you forever.

Oil ok. But still not pumping.

After going to a local bike shop and getting a recommendation to only use blood pump oil I can’t give a fair evaluation. The oil appears to be just fine, but the leather cup (28mm) I purchased for my 28mm inside diameter pump slides freely in the pump. Hence no pumping.
